The third annual Asia Pacific Screen Awards will be held in the glamorous surrounds of Australia’s Gold Coast on Thursday, November 26, 2009. On this night, nominees and more than screen industry guests will gather to honour the outstanding films and filmmakers of Asia-Pacific, a region responsible for half the world's film output.

As valued members of the Australian film industry, APSA is delighted to invite rmembers of SPAA to register their interest in attending the Asia Pacific Screen Awards ceremony including red carpet arrivals and after-party.

This black tie event will be staged at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre (GCCEC) from 5:00pm and includes complimentary attendance for SPAA members. As seats are limited, to avoid disappointment, members who wish to attend the 2009 APSAs should register via the below link at the earliest opportunity.

Once you complete this registration, you will receive a response to advise that you have been allocated ticket/s to the event. 

As this event is filmed for global broadcast on CNN International, should your circumstances change for any reason and you are no longer able to attend the awards, it is imperative that you contact APSA so that we are able to reallocate seating.

 The 2009 Awards will feature a special performance by chart-topping Japanese singer, AI, who will perform the breathtaking feature track from the score of multi-award-winning APSA nominated film Okuribito (Departures).

The ceremony will also feature in The Screening Room Xtra to be broadcast globally across CNN International’s network from December 3, 2009.
