Sergey Melkumov co-founded the Slovo production company in 1992 alongside Viktor Glukhov and Elena Yatsura. In 2005, he then founded Non-Stop Production. He has produced several dozen films and TV series, including Russia’s most popular TV series Lethal Force and the highest rated series, Saboteur. Since 2006, he has taught at the film and TV producing department of the St Petersburg State University of Film and Television. Sergey Melkumov’s filmography numbers more than 30 feature films and TV series, including Andrey Zvyagintsev’s Elena, which won an APSA for Best Performance by an Actress , and Leviathan, for which he received his second APSA nomination for Best Feature Film . In 2019 he produced Beanpole, another APSA nominee for Best Feature Film, and winner of the FIPRESCI Prize at the Cannes Film Festival.
