The 6th Asia Pacific Screen Forum explored the central theme of “Land” through a diverse program of events. Opening night featured a Korean cultural performance celebrating the Co-Create initiative, setting a collaborative tone for the forum.
The program expanded over four days: Day two featured dual roundtable discussions, two panel sessions, and “Reel Connections: Actors Talk Shop” in partnership with Essential Screen Skills. Day three marked a strategic shift with “Connect: Navigating the Human Side of Co-production,” drawing industry professionals from across Australia, followed by an evening networking reception.
The forum concluded with the Awards Ceremony and Youth Pitch Masterclass on day four. Three additional roundtables, organized through expressions of interest from Queensland practitioners, garnered strong attendance and positive feedback.

We acknowledge the continuing connection to land, waters and communities. We also pay our respects to Elders, past and present. We recognise the integral role Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and First Nations peoples continue to play in storytelling and celebration spaces.
