Films are selected by a Submitting Member Organisation to represent their country or area (submitted films) or are directly invited by the APSA International Nominations Council, and Executive Chairman (invited films) to enter the APSA competition.
APSA Academy Members are encouraged and entitled to send details of their production or screen achievement to APSA for consideration.
APSA does not take independent submissions. If you are unable to present your film to a Submitting Member Organisation in your country or area, or prevailing conditions in your country have prevented your film from being screened, please send details of your production and background information to [email protected]
The Asia Pacific Screen Academy expresses its respect for and acknowledgement of the South East Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. We pay our respects to the Traditional Owners of country, including the custodial communities on whose land works are created and celebrated by the Asia Pacific Screen Awards. We acknowledge the continuing connection to land, waters and communities. We also pay our respects to Elders, past and emerging. We recognise the integral role Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and First Nations peoples continue to play in storytelling and celebration spaces.
