Russian actress Agrippina Steklova is well-known to audiences for her many roles across 15 years of Russian films and television. Her feature lead debut in multi award-winning director Aleksandr Kott’s Insight came amid a breakthrough year for her, having also appeared in Sergery Puskepalis’ Klinch (2015), Aleksandr Proshkin’s Rayskie kushchi (2015), Vladimir Khotineko’s Nasledniki (2015), the television series Mama po Kontraktu (2015) and most recently Aleksandr Barshak’s Den vyborov 2 (2016). Steklova also appeared in Aleksandr Veledinskiy’s acclaimed The Geographer Drank His Globe Away(2013), which won five awards at Russia’s prestigious Nika Awards, including Best Film, and three Golden Eagle Awards.
