Christoph Jörg has been producing and commissioning documentaries for over twenty years. From 1994 to 2008, he was Senior Commissioning Editor at Arte France in Paris. Jörg founded Pumpernickel Films in 2009 and has since produced a wide range of award-winning documentaries including Bobby Fischer Against The World, Be Like Others and Love Crimes Of Kabul both for HBO, The Lovers And The Despot and Winnie, which both premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. He was nominated for a News & Documentary Emmy Award in 2010 for Be Like Others alongside director Tanaz Eshaghian, and in 2019, he received his first APSA nomination for One Child Nation.
