Darkhan Tulegenov was born in 1993 in the Uralsk of western Kazakhstan. At the age of 15 he entered the drama faculty of Z. Yelebekov college in Almaty. In 2012 he was admitted to the T. Zhurgenov Kazakh National Academy of Arts. Tulegenov has been a participant of many national and international film festivals.
