Hansen Lin is an independent filmmaker based in the United States and China whose work has been part of award-winning films screened at Sundance, CPH:DOX, and other prestigious festivals. His directing and producing projects have received support from IDA, ITVS, and Firelight Media. He is committed to crafting films that have a strong creative vision and tell stories about personal and coming-of-age themes and the immigrant diaspora experience.

We pay our respects to the Traditional Owners of country, including the custodial communities on whose land works are created and celebrated by the Asia Pacific Screen Awards. We acknowledge the continuing connection to land, waters and communities. We also pay our respects to Elders, past and present. We recognise the integral role Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and First Nations peoples continue to play in storytelling and celebration spaces.
