Its theatrical release in Europe and acquisition by Sony exemplified its global reach. Rapture, helmed by Dominic Sangma, premiered at the 2023 Locarno Film Festival after being selected at La Fabrique Cinema, Cannes Film Festival, and received support from institutions like the Hubert Bals Fund and the Doha Film Institute. Nirvana Inn (2019) debuted at the Busan International Film Festival and Soul Whisperers earned selections at the Film Bazaar Script Lab and a representation at the Marché du Film, Cannes Film Festival. Taking Horses to Eat Jalebis, which they supported, screened in the New Frontiers section of the Sundance Film Festival. Peepal Tree, directed by National Award winner Kranti Kanade, addressed the critical issue of tree cutting and found audiences in select theatres in the USA and India.

Uncombed Buddha films have carved a distinct niche in independent cinema, blending diverse narratives from India and beyond with a dedicated focus on significant social themes.
