Levan Kapanadze was awarded for Best Cinematography at the Open Russian Film Festival for Aleksandr Kott’s Test, which won the Best International Feature prize at the Antalya Golden Orange International Film Festival, the WOWOW Viewer’s Choice Award and the award for Best Artistic Contribution at the Tokyo International Film Festival. Kapanadze shot Yaroslav Chevazhevsky’s Mama Daragaya! which picked up both the Special Jury Prize and the Audience Award at the 2014 Window to Europe Film Festival in Vyborg, Russia. Kapanadze was one of five cinematographers to shoot sections of Russian box office blockbusters, Timur Bekmambetov’s almanac film Six Degrees of Celebration 1 and its sequel by four directors including Alexsandr Kott. In 2011, Kapanadze was director of photography on Konstantin Buslov’s directorial debut Loot, which won the Best First Film at Kinotavr, Sochi.
