Started his career in documentary filmmaking as a finalist of Eagle Award 2005, a documentary film competition by Metro TV and In-Docs. From then on he keeps his passion for documentary filmmaking by attending several workshops and festivals. In 2005 he was an observer for Script Development Jakarta International Film Festival. He joined ”Indonesia – Ten Years After Reformation” Capacity Building Program in mid 2008. In 2009 he was selected as participant in the 7th Berlinale Talent Campus, a annual workshop for young and promising filmmaker held in Berlin, Germany. At that occasion he presented the documentary project The Land Beneath the Fog (2011).
