Sun Li, a graduate of the Communication University of China with a major in photography and a master’s degree in business management from Peking University, has an impressive professional background. He has worked for national media entities such as China Central Television and Hangzhou Wenguang Group. Additionally, he has held positions in various national industry film and television associations.

After resigning from his previous roles, Sun Li founded Joy Entertainment, a company involved in a wide range of businesses, including film, animation, gaming, and production technology.

In 2020, driven by his lifelong passion, Sun Li ventured into the world of art cinema. He produced and produced three films titled Snow Cloud, Only the River Flows, and Rapture. In 2023, these films made their respective premieres at prestigious film festivals, including the Berlin Film Festival, the Cannes Film Festival, and the Locarno Film Festival, as part of their competition sections. Furthermore, these three films were also selected for participation in numerous other significant international film festivals.
