As a distinguished alumnus of Berlinale Talents and Rotterdam Lab, Tan Si En has produced several acclaimed films including Don’t Cry, Butterfly by Dương Diệu Linh (2024, Grand Prix and the Most Innovative Film Award at Venice Critics’ Week), Dreaming & Dying by Nelson Yeo (2023, two Golden Leopards at the Locarno Film Festival), and Wet Season by Anthony Chen (2019, Toronto International Film Festival). Their recent co-productions include A Useful Ghost (2025, Grand Prix at Cannes Critics Week), The Year of the Everlasting Storm (2021, Cannes), and Arnold Is a Model Student by Sorayos Prapapan (2022, Locarno). In addition to their production work, Si En champions Southeast Asian talent through initiatives like the Objectifs Short Film Incubator and the Momo Distribution Grant.

The Asia Pacific Screen Academy expresses its respect for and acknowledgement of the South East Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. We pay our respects to the Traditional Owners of country, including the custodial communities on whose land works are created and celebrated by the Asia Pacific Screen Awards.
