Yasmin C. Rams is a film producer and director and runs the production company Perennial Lens with her partner Rodney Charles. She produced films such as the documentary In Exile, by Myanmar director Tin Win Naing, which had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival and also screened at Busan, DOK Leipzig and other festivals worldwide. Her award-winning film Go Heal Yourself screened at DOC NYC and ran successfully in German cinemas for 10 weeks. In October 2025, Perennial Lens was in post on the Romanian-Dutch-German-Ukrainian co-production The Soldier’s Journey, and in production on the IDFA-Bertha supported film Yusra by Salim Abu Jabal. Yasmin is an alumna of Eurodoc and the IDFA Academy.
