A graduate of the Film and Television department of New York University, Jake Pollock is an American cinematographer who has been highly active in the Taiwan film industry in recent years. Famous for his unique style, his work includes the 2009 Chinese blockbuster The Message by Chen Kuo-Fu and Gao Qun-Shu and Yang Yang by Cheng Yu-Chieh, which screened in the Panorama section of the 2009 Berlin Film Festival and was recently nominated for Best Cinematography at the Asian Film Awards.
