Born in Zhejiang in 1978 and graduated from Beijing Film Academy in 2001, Zeng Jian has been credited as Cinematographer and Editor in many films. As an editor, he was awarded Best Editor for Spring Fever directed by Lou Ye at the 47th Taipei Golden Horse Awards. Zeng’s cinematography titles include Spring Fever, Buddha Mountain, Mystery, Phurbu & Tenzin and Blind Massage. Among them, Buddha Mountain (directed by Li Yu) won Outstanding Artistic Achievement and Best Actress in Tokyo International Film Festival 2010, while Blind Massage (directed by Lu Yue)  was awarded the Silver Bear for Outstanding Artistic Contribution – Camera at Berlinale 2014.

We acknowledge the continuing connection to land, waters and communities. We also pay our respects to Elders, past and emerging. We recognise the integral role Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and First Nations peoples continue to play in storytelling and celebration spaces.
