Post Code Doesn't Matter

Post Code Doesn’t Matter is a national regional initiative led by Women in Film & Television Australia that breaks down geographical barriers for screen creatives. This groundbreaking program delivers hands-on, ground-level industry training directly to regional and remote communities across Australia, focusing on essential skills including pitching, project development, and sector pathways. By bringing professional development opportunities to where creatives live and work, rather than requiring them to travel to major cities, the initiative ensures that postcode doesn’t determine access to career-building resources. The program actively develops and retains creative talent in regional areas while providing practical insights into industry operations, helping to forge the next generation of storytellers regardless of their geographic location.
