Andrew Pike is a film distributor, film historian and documentary filmmaker. With Ross Cooper, he co-authored Australian Film 1900-1977. His company, Ronin Films, distributed many Chinese Fifth Generation films in the 1980s, and many Japanese classics.

The company’s Australian releases have included Strictly Ballroom (1992) and Shine (1996). In 2007, he received an Order of Australia Medal and an honorary doctorate from the University of Canberra. For ten years until 2012, he served on various iterations of the Board of the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia.

In 2007 he produced the documentary Across the Plateau for a Chinese director Zhang Zeming. As a documentary director, his films include Angles of War, The Chifleys of Busby Street, Emily in Japan and Message from Mungo (co-directed with Ann McGrath and winner of a United Nations Association Media Award in November 2014). In 2015 he was General Manager of the Canberra International Film Festival.

Hanna Lee is best known as the producer of the widely celebrated Lee Chang-dong drama Secret Sunshine, which won Best Feature Film and Best Performance by an Actress at the inaugural Asia Pacific Screen Awards in 2007 as well as Best Actress for Jeon Do-yeon at the Cannes International Film Festival. A year later, Hanna was inducted as a member of APSA and served on the International Jury that same year.

On her return to Korea from studying in at New York University, she worked as Festival Coordiantor at the 1st Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, worked with the Korean Film Council as well as the Far East Film Festival in Udine, Italy. She has also worked as a Variety and The Hollywood Reporter correspondent. Lee has worked frequently with critically acclaimed filmmaker Hong Sang-soo including on titles such as Turning Gate (2002) and Woman is the Future of Man (2004).

Glenys Rowe is veteran film producer and marketer. Her first production was Richard Lowenstein’s 1986 musical Dogs in Space, which starred INXS frontman Michael Hutchence. It is widely hailed as a landmark Australian film and cult classic.

Other works include personal favourites like David Ceasar’s Idiot Box (1996) starring Ben Mendelsohn, which received six Australian Film Institute Award nominations in. In 1999, her film Feeling Sexy opened the Brisbane Film Festival, was invited to the Venice Film Festival, and was nominated for four Film Critics Circle of Australia award, winning for Davida Allen’s screenplay.

She currently has two films in productions including a Bristish period costume drama about artist William Blake and an Australian comedy written and directed by stand-up star Kitty Flanagan. As well as film production, Glenys runs the audio book publishing house Fine Poets specialising in the classics of Australian literature recorded by APSA Academy President Jack Thompson.
