Elena Glikman graduated from the MSU Faculty of Journalism and completed the Higher Courses for Scriptwriters and Film Directors (Igor Tolstunov’s producer workshop) Since 1991 together with Mikhail Degtyar co-heads the Reporter TV studio, which specialises mainly in documentaries. The Reporter studio has been was awarded four TEFIs, the Laurel Branch Award, as well as a large number of international awards. Since 2007 she is the executive producer of the Telesto production company. Member of the German-Russian and Russian-French Film Academy.

The Asia Pacific Screen Academy expresses its respect for and acknowledgement of the South East Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
