Leo Gabriadze is a Russia-based movie and commercial director. Since 1995, he has worked at the Timur Bekmambetov’s production company Bazelevs and has made more than 100 commercials, many of them gaining awards. In 2011, he made his first feature movie Lucky Trouble, and in 2013 he directed Unfriended, and international hit that pioneered the use of the narrative being told through on-screen devices like laptops and facetime. Rezo (2018) is his third movie and the first documentary. It was nominated for an APSA for Best Animated Feature Film. Leo has been involved in the Gabriadze Theatre as a producer for the past 15 years.
