Nahed El Sebai is the granddaughter of the great late Egyptian actor, screenwriter and film producer Farid Shawky, and daughter of director Medhat El Sebai and producer Nahed Farid Shawky. She played a number of small roles in several films including Men Nazret Ein (2004), Basra (2008) and short film Nefsi A’oul Action!,as well as a number of television series, including Al HarraSarkhet Ontha and 7, Share’ Al Sa’ada. Director Yosri Nasr Allah presented her with a key role in the film Ehki Ya Shahrazad (2009), which was awarded several prizes inside Egypt and abroad.
