Max Eigenmann is the daughter of the late great actor Mark Gil and former beauty queen turned actor Bing Pimentel. Working predominantly in television in her early career, in 2010 she starred in Romeo and Juliet for APSA Academy member Adolfo Alix Jr for which she was nominated for Breakthrough Performance by an Actress at the Philippines’ Golden Screen Award. In 2016, she starred in Ned’s Project and won Best Supporting Actress the Cinefilipino Film Festival, where the film won an additional five awards including Best Picture. She won further awards for Kulay lila ang gabi na binudburan pa ng mga bituin in 2017. Verdict premiered in the Horizons section of the Venice Film Festival and won the Special Jury Prize. In 2019, she received her first APSA nomination.
