Timofey Lobov graduated from the Russian State University of Cinematography, VGIK, in 2011, under the tutelage of the late great cinematographer Vadim Yousov. He was awarded Best Cinematography at Moscow’s Saint Anna Film Festival for Alexander Novikov’s Further From Childhood (2010), which also won the Audience Award at the VGIK Film Festival in 2011. He has been the Director of Photography for multiple short films, and last year shot 16 episodes of one of the top rated Russian television shows Fizruk 4, and feature film Kedy (2016). In March of 2017, Timofey joined Russian Association of Cinematographers (R.G.C.).
In 2009, Pyotr Dukhovskoi also graduated from the Russian State University of Cinematography, VGIK. Since winning the Award for Bright Expressive Camera Work in a debut film at the 2000 Kinotavr Film Festival, he has received many awards and nominations for his body of work, among them a NIKA Cinema Award nomination for Wild Field (2008), and multiple awards for Roman Khrushch’s Pechorin (2011) including Best Cinematography at the 26th Festival De Cinema De Girona, Spain and from festivals in Montenegro, Brazil and Romania.
