Dana Idisis wrote and co-created On the Spectrum together with Yuval Shafferman. The show premiered at Tribeca Film Festival and won several international awards, including the first prize at SERIES MANIA Festival, and nine Ophir Awards,including Best Drama TV Series, Best Director and Best Screenwriter. It was acquired by Amazon Studios for an American remake. Dana Idisis was born in New York in 1986. A screenwriter and playwright who started out in theater, she wrote several award-winning plays one of which was a German-Israeli co-production, part of a collaboration between the National Habima Theater and the Schauspielhaus Theater in Düsseldorf, Germany. She filmed and directed a documentary film, depicting the lives of her autistic brother and their family. The film participated in the official competition at the DocAviv Festival, was screened throughout the country and was later broadcasted on Yes Doco channel.
