After death and before reincarnation, the souls of the deceased transit through a fantastical realm known as Another World. Gudo is a spirit who helps to guide these souls to their reincarnation. While guiding a young girl named Yuri, he learns that humans have emotions that he does not understand and his interest is piqued. He promises to always be there for Yuri through her difficult journey. But Yuri is one of those rare people who can transform into monstrous beings when completely consumed by their anger. They wreak havoc among humanity and even upset the balance of the universe. Tasked by Goddess Mira to help Yuri control her rage and prevent her transformation into a monster, Gudo embarks on a perilous mission. Despite constant conflicts with his guardian Dark Sky, Gudo insists on giving Yuri a second chance at the risk of his life. He learns that forgiveness and finding inner peace are the only way to overcome the anger within.
